Start with where you'll actually use it
If most outings are neighborhood walks or park strolls, a high-seat stroller puts the seat higher off the ground — away from dust and exhaust — and pushes more smoothly. If you drive often, take public transport or carry the stroller upstairs, a lightweight folding model is easier: one-handed fold, straight into the trunk.
Age decides the seat shape
Newborns from 0 to 6 months need a near lie-flat carrycot or a reclining seat to protect a spine and neck that are still developing. After 6 months, once your baby can sit unaided, you can switch to the upright position. Many BACIUZZI models cover newborn through toddler years, so you don't need to change strollers as they grow.
One piece of advice
Your first stroller doesn't have to do everything. Think about the one or two situations you'll face most often, and spend your budget on safety and pushing comfort — that's usually more useful than piling on features.
